As a photographer, I know first-hand how vital it is to capture tiny details that will last you a lifetime. Those little toes, rolls, and brows won't be around forever! So many people have been reaching out to schedule sessions for babies of a few months old – all of them regretting not having booked their newborn session right away. Those delicate little toes and cheeks, cuddly rolls, and wistful brows will vanish before you know it!
I cannot emphasize enough how cherished the pictures from your shoot will be. Your baby deserves to have these gorgeous family memories, spreading love from the moment of their birth.
I recommend booking your newborn shoot while you're pregnant to make sure you don't miss out. Ideally, they should be done within the first two weeks – but don't worry if baby is a bit older; we'll still get stunning photos that will remind you of this special time forever.
To make an appointment or receive more information on my newborn sessions contact charlotte at [email protected]

I have been doing lots of outdoor sessions in the gorgeous Nantwich during this Autumn time. It is absolutely beautiful this time of year! I love all of the colours at this time of year. Makes for a picture perfect photograph!
What have you been doing to keep yourselves busy?
As much as we love a walk in this family, especially the doggos, I do miss the studio and I hope to welcome you all back on the 3rd December. For now I am keeping myself busy with lots of gorgeous outdoor family photo shoots!
But for now, Stay home and stay safe!
Lots of love,

]]>This year I had the pleasure of taking my nieces to the pumpkin patch at Malpas Farm. I love everything about this pumpkin patch, it has the cute maize to walk through before getting to the mass of pumpkins. It is the perfect place to take photographs, the autumnal colours of the pumpkin patch surrounded by the corn field. The girls are always ready to pose for their Aunty which is a good job really! They aren't bored of me just yet!
I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them!

I cannot begin to tell you what a whirlwind this journey has been. I have been so lucky to meet some new faces and also capture my very loyal clients and friends. I have never been so busy in my life. It has been hard work, I'm not going to lie. To the endless messages, working out routes, the walking to houses, the cycling! In the past two days I've done over 30 miles to people's doorsteps. Thank goodness for the lovely weather we have been experiencing. The hours and hours of editing to make sure these memories are perfect for you and your families. But my hardwork is nothing compared to what our keyworkers have been going through. I couldn't imagine how they are doing their 14 hour shifts, the heartbreak, the pain, the being away from their families. So all this money that I have raised along with other photographers is so so important to protect our NHS.
I wanted to come on and write this blog post to say thank you. Thank you for all the support. Thank you for all the donations.Thank you for all the treats!! (I've received cheesecakes, mini eggs, champagne, all sorts it's been lovely!) It has been ever so lovely getting out into the community and hearing everyone's Lockdown experiences. This is (hopefully) a once in a lifetime experience that we have to go through and we have ALL done it together. So enjoy these Lockdown photoshoots, enjoy the memories. Keep them in your time capsules, print them and frame them proudly in your homes, get them out years later and look back at the time we couldn't leave our homes.
I hope you've enjoyed these as much as I have and once again thank you, and stay safe!
Lots of love,
Charlotte

With some extra time on my hands and endless photographs of my two pugs I had an idea! I have seen so many people online sending loved ones care packages whilst we are unable to be together, so I have put together some care packages of my own! Attached to each gallery is a list of products that without a doubt will put a smile on your loved ones faces!
I had a think of what I would personally love to receive from my friends and family and at the top of my list was a personalised mug (as I am drinking atleast 43 cups of tea a day at the minute) and of course a 300 piece jigsaw of my favourite family photograph! You can order these products to be delivered straight to your home or straight to your loved ones and they will have a smile on their face with a present to last a lifetime! Memories captured in photographs are so so important at times like these. They remind us of the good times we have had and the good times that are still to come.
If you would like to order any of these products please log into your galleries and you can order them using a simple online shopping process. Ever order will put a huge smile on my face as well knowing that you are all still supporting me as the very best clients and friends. I cannot wait to see you all to give you a big squeeze when this is all over! And I most certainly cannot wait to get back in to the studio to capture your families and see how much everyone has grown!
Any questions please feel free to send me a message, I am still very much active in my business (online only) and would love to hear from you all!
Hope you are keeping safe and staying at home.
All the best,
Charlotte

I love to meet the couples before a wedding to get to know the people who I will be capturing on their special day. Myself and Lauren parked ourselves in a local Costa to get to know one another a bit more before the big day! Lauren and Mark definitely had a whirlwind romance. Meeting unexpectedly in a local bar to now having a gorgeous family of 5 children!
When arriving at Moddershall Oaks ahead of the big day I let out a squeal of excitement when I set my eyes on the bridal prep room, the blush lounge. It was perfect for all of the girly getting ready that was going to go on! Lauren was ever so calm, taking everything in her stride, getting herself ready plus being chief hairdresser to the little ones! We were hoping for a sunny, outdoor ceremony, however the rain wasn't going to let that happen! But it didn't matter as the ceremony room was just as gorgeous as everywhere else at Moddershall oaks!
With a beautiful ceremony Mark and Lauren were now husband and wife! I managed to steal them away for some gorgeous couple photographs whilst the rain held off in the afternoon. Surrounded by magical woodland and a private lake we were never short of a gorgeous backdrop for the photographs.
Now on to the speeches, is it ever a good sign you cover your face when the best man is giving his speech? Obviously Mark knew what was to come!!!! I personally LOVE the speeches. I love seeing the proud parents, the even prouder husband full of love for his new wife, but the best of all is the hilarious stories from the best man, and at this wedding we weren't short of a good story!
After all the laughter it was safe to say there was going to be a party as the evening guests started to arrive. With the dance floor full before the first dance, the photobooth props were on everyone, the party had begun!! I love capturing people at the evening reception, people have finally gotten used to me and my camera and really start to let lose! And boy did they party!
Now for the main event! Take a look at a sneak peak from Mark and Lauren's gallery. Congratulations Mr and Mrs James! Enjoy your sneak peaks!
]]>Have you been following a certain someone and just absolutely LOVE their work on Facebook or Instagram? Is there more than one person you would love to capture your day? I would narrow my searches down by looking for a few things in particular!
Do they capture all the little things that you put so much effort into?
You have worked ever so hard carefully decided absolutely everything from your shoes, flowers to even the perfume you have chosen as your signature scent for your wedding day, you certainly want it all capturing. This is something that I find ever so important throughout the wedding day, especially during your bridal preparation! You don't want to miss a single thing!
Can you see the true emotion in their photographs?
You want to look like you are having the most amazing time (because you actually are having the best day of your life) You want to see this in every single photograph. You want to see the tears of joy, the tears of laughter, the excitement, the joy, the love. It should be bursting out of the photograph.
When I capture another couples day, I always think of how I would feel on my wedding day. I would want to be relaxed and enjoy every second, and definitely not be standing around taking photographs all day. I want all of the candid shots taken throughout the day. The real joy when your bridesmaids see you for the first time in your dress, that moment when you have your first kiss as husband and wife, and especially the parts where all your relatives and friends are putting out their best moves on the dance floor. You want someone that will do all of this for you, and be creative with it!
Have fun and enjoy every moment of your day and you will get the best photographs you could wish for. Don't plan your day around your photographer, just make sure they are there to capture everything that is happening! It is such an exciting time for everybody when you get married. A momentous occasion where after the day is over all you are left with is memories and photographs that you can treasure forever!
Fill your photographs with laughter, light and love and you will have the perfect wedding photographs.
I hope you've enjoyed this little read and it helps you find your perfect wedding photographer!
Lots of love, Charlotte

One of my favourite parts of the day to capture is the bridal preperation. I just love seeing the excitement and being part of it! Alex and the girls were in full preperation with their make up artist and a hairdresser. With so much going on, the champagne flowing, and a bunch of excited girls, the room was so relaxed and full of joy. It was the perfect wedding morning!
The decision of whether to have an outside ceremony was a last minute decision. The weather could not make it's mind up that morning. However, it was fate! As soon as 11am struck the sun came pouring through, and I bet Alex and Jay were so pleased it did as it made for such a stunning ceremony. I was a little upset to see no tears from Jay when he saw his beautiful bride to be walking down the isle. However I think we were pretty close!!
After the ceremony I love to have a little one on one time with the newlyweds to capture that special just married glow! We went out into the spectacular surroundings and created some ever lasting memories. There was croquet, giant sun loungers and even the option to sit on the bridge and dangle their feet into the pond ( they decided against that last one). These photographs are definitely my favourite throughout any couples day. You really get to capture the love that these pair have and it's just so blooming lovely!
I will end my blog post with a few more of my favourite snaps from Mr and Mrs Deaville's special day. I could go on forever posting my favourite photographs as there are far too many but I have narrowed it down to these last few! I hope you've enjoyed my blog and these gorgeous photographs if I do say so myself!
Lots of love

Now that I had the perfect cake, time to get ready to build the rest of the set. Once you have the cake sorted the set just falls into place. I had my vegetables, crates and balloons by Fancy a Party in Nantwich. I even had Peter Rabbit teddies, it was a breeze!! This is what I created!
After giving myself a little pat on the back, it was time to wait for Mum, Suzanne, and the birthday boy Harry to arrive. I love seeing people's faces when they are so pleased with how it all comes together from a simple idea! Mum loved the set so we jumped straight in! Harry took a little while to get into it, but once he did there was cake everywhere! He was just made to be a cake smasher! Here he is in action from the shoot!!
Once the cake was demolished, we popped Harry into the tin tub for his splash part of the session to get him all cleaned up. He had a blast! Splashing water everywhere and playing with the rubber ducks! Can you look any cuter than Harry in a tub???
Once all the splashing was done and we were all clean, the little poser wanted some shots all wrapped up in a towel. Looking all cute and cuddly!
Hurray! The cake smash and splash was a huge success and Mum absolutely loves the photographs! I even had a phone call to tell me how much she loves them!!
Want to make your little ones birthdays extra special? Get in touch! I am up for the creative challenge and can do any theme you would like!!
Thanks for reading, Charlotte xox
]]>The make-up looked absolutely amazing and done by the oh so talented Lauren from Olivia's in Sandbach! She is so talented at what she does!
The girls on hair were on fire! They did such a good job with all of the bridesmaids and the bride!
The ceremony took place at such a stunning venue. The Racquet Club in liverpool is so quirky and a fabulous wedding venue! Even the double doors on the front are spectacular and made for perfect photographs! The ceremony was just perfect. Everything about it was just lovely! I thoroughly enjoyed this wedding. It was the perfect day for the perfect couple!
I hope you love the photographs as much as I do! If you would like to book me as your wedding photographer please get in touch!

]]>I was asked to photograph the gorgeous Colour Me Pretty range and I could not wait to get started! We decided to have the photo shoot at the gorgeous Trafford Hall, the views are to die for!! I had my lovely models, gorgeous robes and accessories and refillable coffee throughout the shoot! What more could a girl want?!
What can I say about this brand? Just GORGEOUS!!! From the robes with floral designs to the personalized make up bags. It is all just divine!! Julia does such a fantastic job creating this brand that it is so hard to choose which is your favourite! Which robe would you pick?

]]>From the moment I met Dec and Charlotte I knew that we were going to have a fantastic time capturing their wedding. They are both amazing people who are so easy going and you can tell straight away how in love they are!
The morning of the wedding I arrived at Wychwood park to be greeted by a very relaxed Charlotte getting ready. The girls looked stunning! The day went by so quickly and I loved every moment of it! Dec and Charlotte were so happy to go with the flow and create some beautiful pictures! It was a dream wedding and I cannot believe how quickly the day went. We ended up finishing with a fantastic photo booth with some funny results!
I have selected so many of my favourites as I just couldn't choose which ones to share with you all. Thank you Charlotte and Dec for being such a fantastic couple to work with. It will definitely be a wedding to remember!

If you are struggling with what to wear-
I always advise my clients to wear something that they feel comfortable in. If you don't feel comfortable then it will tell in your photographs. You don't have to come in matching outfits, but if this is the style that you would like to go for then that is fantastic.
If you are struggling with what to bring-
I recommend to bring anything that is sentimental to you that you would like in your pictures. If it is a newborn shoot it could be the first teddy or a special gift. If you want to bring a special outfit then please feel free. Anything that is sentimental to you is perfect, please bring it a long to your session.
My last tip for your shoot is please be relaxed and try to enjoy your session. The more relaxed you feel, the more creative we can get in the studio session and the more perfect your photographs will be!!!
Take a look through my website to see examples from my family photo shoots!!
